Here's some info about us and how our wonderful breeding program began!
We are a small dog breeder in
Northwest Ohio, located out in the middle of nowhere, with plenty of room for our dogs to run. Breeding dogs has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl, as my mother raised dogs also (so I've been involved in this wonderful way of life for a long time)! Now I am able to devote all of my time to our three fabulous kids and our wonderful dogs, to ensure our parents and pups have the best of care! All-in-all, we have been blessed with some wonderful animals, our amazing 1 year old son and two beautiful 6-year olds to spoil everyone here on our little funny farm. We have goats, cows, a miniature pot belly pig, mini horses, mini donkeys, chickens, 2 cats and our wonderful dogs-we like to keep it interesting around here! Everyone gets along quite well, we try to keep our dogs with laid back personalities so they can all run together. Even though they are all different breeds, they all get along exceptionally well.
Our love for Bloodhounds began years before we actually got a Bloodhound. The Bloodhounds had always been an interest to us but we found that it was hard to find a good bloodhound in our area. It seems like so many breeders have aimed solely on the show look that they've lost the traditional ways of the bloodhound. We wanted that traditional bloodhound look that so many of us remember from Days of Thunder. So we gave up looking in our area and went south and found the traditional look, with that well known bloodhound nose. Many of our bloodhound pups have gone on to do Search and Rescue or to be on a K9 Force, but we also have plenty that are just lounging around on someone's couch loving life being a spoiled pet. We wanted to produce a Bloodhound that could be a wonderful pet and a hard worker!
We never really intended to breed our Cane Corso, until we owned one and realized what remarkable breed they were as well. This breed has been awesome! We originally just planned to have a Cane Corso for a protector. However, once we had one and trained her, wow, they are unbelievably intelligent, not to mention extremely good with kids! You'll often read about how a Cane Corse goes from teddy bear to protector in 3 seconds, it's very true! I've been amazed at how gentle these guys can be for as large as they are, even as adolescents they are understanding of their size compared to a child. My kids lay with and over my Corso's and they never bat an eye the wrong way they are unbelievable with kids, even ones outside the family. They are remarkable with loving children and they are just as remarkable with how they protect their family! You couldn't ask for a better security guard than a Cane Corso! Once you feel the security of having a Cane Corso protect your family you'll never be able to be with out one again.
Both of our breeds are great with kids and they have a great mind set for family living, but you still need to be prepared as both breeds are quite large breed and they take a dedicated owner. Please do your research before deciding to purchase a Bloodhound or a Cane Corso. We have done many rescues over the years and it's heart breaking to see what these dogs go through just because someone wasn't prepared for that adorable 10lb puppy to be turn into a 110lb dog that took up a large part of their living room floor! We ask you to please do your homework, meet some dogs and talk to current owners before choosing your puppy!
*We do take in rescue's (of all breeds) on occasion, so if you are interested in adopting a rescue dog please check in with us to see what we have at that time! All dogs need love and we like to assist in providing that to them!!
As for all of our dogs, all-in-all each and every one of them have it pretty good. We have a 12x24 Kennel, that is heating and cooled for them to relax in, and they all get kiddy pools in the summer to cool off in. The 3 center runs are 4x8 on the inside and 8x60 on the outside, the 2 end runs are 4x12 on the inside and 20x60 on the outside. We couldn't bare the thought of them having those scrunched up living areas like most breeders have. Everyone always has a buddy and plenty of toys to play with when they are in their runs, they each get to run our full 55 acres atleast a few times a week. So we have acres for them to run and a beautiful creek for them to splash around in on those hot summer days. Not to mention the goats and cows for them to pester and entertain! We are more than happy to give you a tour of our kennel so you know how our dogs live!
Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to know a little more about one of our precious dogs! Remember, we also offer stud service, for approved Bloodhound and Cane Corsos. Our puppies are available to homes all over the country, not just in
Ohio, where we are located! We have the ability to ship world wide so no matter what your location we can still provide you with a remarkable pet!! I've been on the buying end I know how frustrating it can be to try to get someone to answer all of your questions. We don't claim to know it all or to have the best show dogs that money can buy. We do however, promise we will assist you as much as we possibility can with any questions you may have, as well as give you some referrals so you can talk to people that have been blessed with our dogs, just give us a call at
